Today on Wii: Mega Man, Cooking, and Brains. Delicious brains.

With Animal Crossing: City Folk less than a week away from release, Wii owners probably need something to pass the time over the next six days.  Luckily, the Wii Shop is now featuring three titles for you.  Unluckily, only one’s going to catch anyone’s eye.

First up you’ve got Brain Challenge for 1,000 Wii Points.  It supports up to four players and is yet another brain game in a genre that’s clearly not overpopulated.  You’ll get to choose your coach and try and beef up your brain’s skills in a variety of areas.  The Theme from Rocky is not included.

Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam is also priced at 1,000 Wii Points, but only brings two player support to the table.

  You’ll have to frantically to the customers of your restaurant as you seek to achieve your goal of becoming the best chef in the world.  The game offers Career Mode and some limited multiplayer.

But the real gem today is Mega Man 3, the lone ranger of Virtual Console titles coming out today.   At 500 Wii Points, it’s an absolute steal, and one of the games that reminds you of what makes Mega Man games great:  Crazy bosses, weird weapon progression, and a difficulty level like no other.
