The future is now! Fallout 3 is golden; PC specs revealed
Sure, there may be some gamers out there who can’t wait a measly two weeks to explore a post-apocalyptic Washington, DC. and have to resort to nefarious deeds, but the vast majority can.
For those, Bethesda have announced that Fallout 3 has officially gone gold, and will arrive as planned on PS3, 360 and GFW October 28th in North America, the 30th in Europe and Australia and the 31st in the UK. Yippee.
The Games for Windows crowd have not been forgotten in terms of news, though. The Fallout 3 PC requirements were also revealed today and surprisingly, they aren’t that terribly demanding.
Minimum System Requirements:
* Windows XP/Vista
* 1GB System RAM (XP)/ 2GB System RAM (Vista)
* 2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
* Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 256MB RAM (NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X850 or better)
Recommended System Requirements:
* Intel Core 2 Duo processor
* 2 GB System RAM
* Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512MB RAM (NVIDIA 8800 series, ATI 3800 series)
* Supported Video Card Chipsets: NVIDIA GeForce 200, 9800, 9600, 8800, 8600, 8500, 8400, 7900, 7800, 7600, 7300 and 6800 series. ATi HD 4800, 4600, 3800, 3600, 3400, 2900, 2600, 2400 series. ATi X1900, X1800, X1600, X1300 and X850 series.
